ABOUT US
Big+Black+Brunch was created in 2019 by Bivett Brackett, a San Francisco native, to build community and the Black economic power base one brunch at a time. We partner with Black-owned businesses to curate brunch experiences for everyone. From delicious food from the American South to savory Nigerian dishes, our goal is to create spaces that celebrate Black cuisine and mobilize and circulate the Black dollar in our communities across the Bay Area.
We connect Black-owned restaurants, chefs, wineries, and vendors to customers to create and nurture community-centered spaces and experiences.
How we do it
partnerships
We develop and nurture partnerships with local Black-owned businesses to create an ecosystem of opportunities for restaurants, chefs, wineries, and vendors. With our support, our partners access a network of restaurants and spaces where they can share their culinary expertise and build their customer base.
Community
We host our events in community-centered environments where everyone is welcomed. Our partners are a variety of businesses that serve food and drinks showcasing the Black diaspora. By using social media and our network of brunchers, businesses, and organizations, we connect with communities across the Bay Area and promote our events.
Experiences
We value customer experience above all. We make sure that our business partners and community that attend our events have a good time! From the planning of brunches, through the end of events, our partners can count on us to prioritize them and their customers.
